Description: Western Washington - 30 minutes from Olympia seeking a Locum Family Nurse Practitioner to start as soon as credentialed --Contract Length: 3 months, possibility to extend --Shift Details: 8a-5p, 40hrs/week. 8 hour work day with 1 hour unpaid lunch. --Schedule: Monday-Friday --No call --Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, most clinics have an onsite pediatrician and local health care administrator they will submit timecards to. --Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: FT. 40hrs/week. --Patients per day: Will be scheduled to see up to 18 patients. May be less depending on cancellations, etc, but should be comfortable with higher volume and fast paced. --Patient Population/Age: Newborns-Geriatrics. Provider should be comfortable working with all ages. Looking for someone with PEDS experience. --Department Description: Community Health Center. Providers should have experience in these settings or express interest to work with vulnerable populations. They service migrants and refugees and have interpretative services available on site. Provider is not required to be bilingual, but would be a plus. OP ambulatory services, family medicine, walk-in/acute care services, chronic disease management. They may be caring for same day walk in patients. --EMR: EPIC --Special Procedures: Basic bread and butter procedures. Injections, IUD placement, minor wound care. --Skills Required: Expected to hit ground running. Will be a 1 week ramp up with onsite orientation but will be expected to begin patient care by day 3. --Required: Board Certification, WA license, DEA, Minimum 2 years experience, clean background/malpractice, covid and flu vaccines
