Description: 40 minutes from San Antonio, TX Facility is seeking Locum Emergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage starting September 2026 - Contract length: 6 Months - Shift Details: Facility only has two 12 hour shifts per day: 6:30am-6:30pm, 6:30pm-6:30am (Candidates must be willing to work a mix of these two shifts) - Trauma Level Designation: Level IV - Annual ED Volume: 11,000 (31 visits/day) - Admission Percentage 6.9% - Average Patients per Hour: 1.2 - Transfer Rate: 6.1% - Specialty Back-Up: Hospitalist, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Cardiology without intervention, Orthopedics, Podiatry - EMR: Meditech - Pediatric Visits: 22% - Open to Locum-to-Perm and Perm arrangements - Required TX license or IMLC, ACLS, ATLS , PALS - Must be ABEM only
