Description: Northern Virginia - 90 minutes from DC Medical Center is seeking Locum CRNA to provide coverage starting ASAP - Contract Length: 26 weeks, ongoing - Shift Details: 10hr shifts; open to 12hr shifts - Schedule: 4x10s – M-F – 7a-5p, on occasion 1p-11p - Open to 5x10s or 3x12s / 4x12s – 12 hr shifts are 7a-7p or 11a-11p - No call - Support Staff: 1:4 care team model with anesthesiologist support - Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: weekly, full-time coverage. Will consider 2-3 weeks/mo availability as well. - Patients per Day: Varies on cases for the day. Could be 2 long cases up to 15 endo cases per day. - Patient Population/Age: Adults - Hospital-based anesthesia practice with no cardiac cases or hearts. EP coverage is a daily component of the practice, running 2 rooms with approximately 4-5 cases per room per day. Limited OB exposure currently with potential for future expansion - EMR: Epic - Special Procedures: EP, Endo, Ortho, Limited OB - Required: General Anesthesia, Spinal and epidural proficiency preferred. - May occasionally float to affiliated surgery centers based on staffing needs - Practice Setting: Hospital/Affiliated Surgery Centers - Required: NBCRNA certification, BLS, ACLS and PALS (Must be AHA) - Open to licensing
