Description: Seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join an established GI practice
Must be ERCP trained – EUS a plus
Consult patients daily, with option of half or full day office hours during designated weekdays, depending on preference
There are no weekend clinic hours
Call is minimal and majority of weeks during the year are covered by GI Hospitalists
If desired there is opportunity for a combined Traditional/Hospitalist role Current practice employs 2 general GI physicians, 2 full-time GI Hospitalist and various per diem GI Hospitalists (who take all call), and 2 outpatient Advanced Practice Providers, creating a unique opportunity for a new physician to step into a thriving practice
There is additional growth potential through area outreach and education, as well as an opportunity to participate in the development of an endoscopic ultrasound program
The endoscopy unit includes five endoscopy suites and one bronch lab
10-bed recovery unit
Experienced and helpful staff of RNs and techs
It is designed as an ambulatory Surgical Center and all patients are managed within the unit with occasional procedures in the OR, primarily pediatric patients
Office is in a new medical professional building attached to the Hospital
Procedures include Colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, EUS, Flexible sigmoidoscopies, PEG tube placements
