Money rates it #10 on their "Best Places to Retire" list. And Forbes places it #4 on its list of the country's best places for business and careers. Naturally that quality of living comes from the four-season climate, the beauty of the mountains and lakes and comfortable, friendly communities. And no matter if you choose urban excitement, well-tended suburbs, a farm, or the solitude of a mountain retreat, you'll find this area a wonderful place to live.
