Description: 1 hour from San Antonio Hospital seeking Locum Emergency Medicine physician to provide coverage starting in November - Length of assignment: 6-12 months or longer - 12-18 shifts a month - Must have ABEM, AOBEM certs or board eligible ABEM/AOBEM - Staffing Model: 3 Doc shifts - Shift Times: 6a-4p, 12p-10p, 8p-6a - Annual Volume 31,000 - 85 patients per day - 13% EMS - 25% Admitted patients - Level IV Trauma - 20 beds, 0 fast track, 4 hallway beds when needed - 12 ICU Beds - EMR: Meditech Expanse - Vaccinations required: Annual flu vaccination, TB (within 6 months of application), MMR, Tdap, Varicella, HepB - Required: TX License or IMLC, DEA
