Description: Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular or Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant to provide full-time services Employed position Practice is consistently growing, increasing the Cardiac, Thoracic and TAVR cases annually. Schedule: 1 Clinic Day per Week w/ remainder being OR and IP Management. Supportive Administration & Collegial Staff. Office space and necessary equipment available. CTS Program currently has 1 Surgeon, 1 Physician Assistant with additional coverage in place - looking to add a 2nd PA/NP Call responsibilities include OR Coverage, Inpatient Management, and Outpatient Phone Calls. Call is shared with additional support from locums and is highly manageable leading to great quality of life Requirements: Experience in Vein Harvesting, Experience as Surgical 1st Assist, Certified NP/PA, Must be able to provide: Surgical 1st Assist including VATS and Thoracotomies, Endoscopic Vein Harvesting, Pre-op evaluation of patients and surgery prep, post-op inpatient management in CVICU and Telemetry Floor as well as post-op evaluations in follow-up appointments.
