Description: Medical Center is seeking Locum Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide coverage - Dates needed: ASAP - ongoing - Schedule: Ideal locum candidates can provide at least 4-6 shifts per 4-week block; - Variable – days, evenings, nights, & weekends as part of a 24/7/365 coverage model - Weekend, Night, and Holiday work is shared equally among all team members - Current shifts include: 10-hour evenings (1p -11p); 12-hour Days/Nights (7a-7p & 7p-7a) - - Specialty skills and procedures: Arterial line placement, Central Venous Line Placement, Chest Tube Placement, Endotracheal Intubation, Lumbar Puncture, PICC Placement - Call: In-house night call responsibilities are shared among all team members who have completed orientation to nights. - Patients per day: PICU: 4-6 patients during the day; night call includes all patients assigned to the team at checkout as well as any new admission assigned to team. - EMR: Epic - Prefer to initially offer a 13-week contract, but will consider a 26-week assignment, case-by-case - Required: Active TX license, BC/BE, BLS, PALS, NPR certification
