Description: Medical Center is seeking Locum Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide coverage for PICU - Dates needed: ASAP - ongoing - Schedule: Ideal candidates can provide at least 4-6 shifts per 4-week block; - Variable – days, evenings, nights, & weekends as part of a 24/7/365 coverage model - Weekend, Night, and Holiday work is shared equally among all team members - 12-hour Days/Nights (0700-1900, 1900-0700) - Call: In-house night call responsibilities are shared among all team members who have completed orientation to nights. - PICU: 6-8 patients during the day; night call includes all patients assigned to team at checkout as well as any new admission assigned to the team. - Specialty skills and procedures: Arterial line placement, Central Venous Line Placement, Chest Tube Placement, Endotracheal Intubation, Lumbar Puncture, PICC Placement - EMR: Epic - Will need NPR certification, BC/BE - Prefer to initially offer a 13-week contract, but will consider a 26-week assignment, case-by-case
