Description: Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist --The practice has been an integral part of the team of hospital subspecialists for well over 40 years and remains primarily an outpatient driven entity. --Presently, the group evaluates nearly 9,400 outpatients and performs approximately 5,600 echocardiograms per year at the hospital, at the hospital-based practice and at community-based satellite offices. --In addition, inpatient consultation and ongoing daily assessments are completed at the hospital and echocardiograms and consultations are performed at newborn nurseries (levels 1,2 & 3) at other local hospitals. --There is an active adult congenital heart disease program in place --The department is looking for a pediatric cardiologist with training and/or experience with clinical cardiology as well as echocardiography skills: trans-esophageal echos, fetal echos and interpretation of adult echos. --Ability to perform pericardiocentsis is preferred. --We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package including a generous sign-on bonus and relocation package. --Required: BC/BE in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology.
