Description: Facility is seeking Pediatrician an outpatient Pediatrician to join our team
- Outpatient clinic is open and staffed Monday – Friday from 8:00 – 5:00 pm, full time providers typically work 4 days/week.
- 1:1 nursing ratio to provider on most days in addition to medical assistants and clinical nurse assistants
- Call is 1:8 weeks taken from home averaging 0-4 after hour calls per week (pediatric hospitalists cover urgent care, emergency department, hospital, and community calls)
- Inpatient services are covered by a dedicated pediatric hospitalist team of 2 physicians and 2 pediatric nurse practitioners available 24/7 for newborn rounds, cares and pediatric admissions to our 16 bed inpatient pediatric unit.
- Our level III NICU delivers 24+ weeks and is staffed with neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners, neonatal RNs and respiratory therapists
- Dedicated Pediatric and NICU specific transfer teams for regional transfers
- Epic electronic medical record and good clinical support staffing structures
