Description: Seekinng a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner --Evaluate the physiological, neurological, and psychopharmacological status of the program's clients. --Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medication. --Participate in the development of diagnostic formulations and treatment plans, as well as attendance and participation in weekly multidisciplinary treatment team meetings. --Provide direct counseling therapy, when indicated. --Participate in utilization review, peer review and quality management programs. --Coordinate and foster collaborations with community agencies and hospitals in the care, treatment and services of patients. --Provide supervision and consultation to other disciplines as assigned. --Work closely with other clinicians and primary care for an integrated care approach. --Provide in-service education to staff as requested. --Meet productivity/direct care expectations --Participate in Supervision. --Required: 3 years' experience, ANCC certification, MA DEA/CSR, ability to perform CPR (chest compressions). --Physical requirements: Frequent standing and walking for up to 80% of the work day or shift. Some lifting, pushing or pulling required up to 30 pounds, Ability to see and distinguish color. , Ability to perform CPR (chest compressions). FLSA Status: Exempt
