Description: Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a well-established private practice - Hybrid inpatient and outpatient surgical practice - Weekly schedule includes approximately 2.5 days in clinic and 2 days in the OR - Call responsibilities include approximately 10 call days per month (24-hour shifts, 7am–7am) - Average of 1–2 phone consults per day - Onsite hospital presence required 1–3 times per week for emergent cases - Hospitalists manage general inpatient consults; CV surgeon responds within 24 hours - Required 24-hour postoperative rounding - Established cardiothoracic surgical program offering a broad range of advanced procedures, including CABG, valve repair and replacement, thoracic surgery, and vascular surgery - Robust OR resources with two dedicated cardiothoracic surgery ORs and full block time - Access to two da Vinci Xi robotic systems - Comprehensive support team, including surgical assistance for CABG cases, office manager, and receptionist - Anesthesia coverage comprised of approximately 80% MD anesthesiologists and 20% CRNAs - Competitive base salary with productivity-based incentive potential - Student loan repayment options - Relocation assistance - Marketing support - CME allowance
