Description: Southern Massachusetts Hospital is seeking Locum Emergency Medicine physician to provide coverage starting September 2026 --Schedule Details: The need is for about 10 shifts per month; for 3 month assignment. September: 13 shifts - working 6 evenings (3p to 12a) and seven (10p to 7a) October: 10 shifts - working four (7a to 7p) and six (7p to 7a) November 10 shifts - working four (7a to 7p) and six (7p to 7a) --Needing an Emergency Medicine attending locum to help staff the ED. --Critical Access Hospital with 14% peds volume and limited onsite specaility support. --Experince in a community setting, particularly rural or critcal access environments, would be helpful. --See about 2.5 to 3 patients per hour. --Nocturnist preferred --EMR/Charting Software: Epic --Avg. Daily Census: 20-24 patients per day on average --Patient Age Group: all --BC in Emergency Medicine required --Additonal requirements: MA license, ACLS, DEA, at least 1 yr experience
