 Description: Seeking a Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our congenial group
--The GI division is composed of 9 pediatric gastroenterologists, 3 pediatric nurse practitioners, 1 physician assistant, 3 registered dieticians, nurses, and support staff 
--Over 11,000 outpatient visits per year at four sites and perform more than 2,700 endoscopic and motility procedures per year.  
--We have psychologists, dieticians, and social workers embedded in our clinic, and we work closely with our pediatric, surgical, pathology, and radiology colleagues throughout the hospital as well as with our home care team and primary care physicians in our area.  
--Our physicians include hospital leaders in medical affairs, value-based care, and quality.  
--We are active participants in the ImproveCareNow network, and we have on-going research programs in inflammatory bowel disease.
--Opportunities are available for research and quality improvement, as well as for medical student and resident teaching, the latter as part of the country’s only civilian/military integrated pediatric residency program.
 Community/Facility info: The region's pediatric referral center for 20 Ohio counties and eastern Indiana. There is a full-time dedication to caring for infants, children and teens. Specially trained and experienced pediatric specialists in over 35 specialty areas work as a team to make sure the medical and psychosocial needs of children and their families are met. We offer Board-certified pediatric specialists in over 35 areas, including cardiology, newborn medicine, critical care, pulmonary medicine, neurosurgery, nephrology, urology, neurology and dermatology.  The Pediatric Trauma and Emergency Center is the region's only trauma facility dedicated to caring for children.  Our Regional Level III Newborn Intensive Care Unit is nationally recognized. Its family focus, low sound and light levels, the use of developmental concepts and its skilled staff help critically ill babies heal faster.  The region's only pediatric transport team will bring your infant or child to this facility in one of four mobile intensive care units. This facilities  pediatric sleep center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and is directed by a physician board-certified in sleep medicine.  Clinical research is regularly conducted at to improve the lives of infants, children and teens through the latest treatments.  Community-based services. Many of this facilities pediatric experts offer services in communities throughout our 20-county region.  Our community offers a variety of public, private and religious education systems, thriving arts and entertainment, minor league baseball team, museums, and parks.
