Description: Medical Center is seeking Locum BC/BE OB/GYN to provide outpatient(clinic) coverage, clinic call coverage, and inpatient OB Hospitalist coverage starting ASAP - Need for 2 locum OB/GYNs covering the clinic simultaneously each week; minimum 2 weeks per month preferred - Clinic open Monday–Friday; 40 patients per day (20 morning, 20 afternoon) - Locum has own pod with assigned MA and nurse; 3 ultrasound rooms/techs in office; IUD insertion expected - Call rotation currently 1:6, transitioning to 1:8 with additional locum support; call rotates every 24 hours, with physicians on L&D rather than in office on call days - NP rounds on L&D mornings and assists with discharges before moving to the practice around 10am - 6–12 deliveries per day expected while on call; half-day post-call after coming off clinic call - Sporadic OB Hospitalist shifts also needed — typically 24-hour in-house shifts (7a–7a); night-only coverage (7p–7a) considered if full-shift coverage unavailable - OB Hospitalist shifts are 100% in-house; only 1 locum needed at a time for inpatient coverage - 6–12 deliveries and up to 20 OBED patients expected per average 24-hour inpatient shift; 24 hours off provided post-call - Same candidates preferred for clinic, clinic call, and inpatient coverage, but splitting roles is open for consideration - On-site Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic with MFM physicians available on call - Level III NICU on site - EMR: Epic - Required: SC license, DEA, CSR(strongly preferred)
