Description: Medical Center is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated Behavioral Health Emergency Department - 3 day a week schedule with rotating weekend coverage(every 5th week) - Flexible 12 hour schedule(7a-7p, 8a-8p or 9a-9p) - Will serve as Admission officer for inpatient units. Will work with on call Psychiatrist and on shift ED Physician. Requirements: - Graduation from a state certified advance practice program specializing in a psychiatry/mental health. - An unrestricted license to practice as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant. - An unrestricted DEA registration. - A state-issued Controlled Substance Registration (CSR). - Registration with the state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP). - Child capable certification - 2 years providing direct patient care for psychiatric disorders is preferred. - PMHNP certification required
