Description: Hospital is seeking BC/BE General Surgeon to help establish a full-time solo practice
- Opportunity to build and lead a solo general surgery practice with an established referral base
- 4.5-day work week with flexible scheduling options and block scheduling available
- 10 days of call required with option for additional compensated call
- Experienced OR team with practice management and EMR support
- Hospital undergoing major emergency department expansion, expected to increase surgical volume
- Robotic surgery capability is planned, creating additional opportunities for program growth.

Community/Facility info: 152-bed acute care and 46-bed skilled care facility. The hospital is Joint Commission-accredited and serves south-central Tennessee. The facility features a 10-bed ICU, a 12-bed Geriatric Psychiatry Unit, a 12-bed Inpatient Physical Rehab Unit, a Skilled Nursing Unit, Sleep Lab, Cardiac Cath Lab, five OR Suites and two Endoscopy Suites. There is also a 13-bay Emergency Room with more than 15,000 annual visits. Hospital has a four-bay Emergency Room that sees over 5,000 patients every year. Radiology services include MRI, CT, PET/CT, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound and X-ray. Conveniently located in southern Tennessee.
