Description: Facility is seeking an experienced BC Palliative Care physician to start an outpatient Palliative Care service - In this new role, you will help start an outpatient Palliative Care practice that will be embedded in our existing Oncology clinic and have access to supportive clinical staff including onsite social work and chaplain. - Benefit from an excellent work-life balance, with a weekday only schedule focused only on outpatient care. - This is a 0.6 FTE, fully benefited position. - Collaborate closely with our two physicians and one ARNP that support our inpatient Palliative Care program. - Potential opportunity to pick up some inpatient work, if needed. - This new position will focus on improving quality of life and health for patients with complex illnesses and approaching end-of-life illnesses, develop, and facilitate goals of care for patients in an outpatient setting. - This is a hospital-employed position with support from our in-house primary and specialty care referral base. - EMR: Epic - Salary: $179,385 - Employment bonus, relocation reimbursement & CME allowance. - Malpractice insurance, including tail insurance, is fully covered - Our comprehensive benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. - Paid maternity and parental bonding leave available - 401a and 457b retirement plans available - Graduate from an ACGME accredited residency program in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required. Fellowship training a plus. - PSLF approved institution - WA license and minimum 2-4 years of practice experience is required.
