Description: Medical Center is seeking a Sleep Medicine physisican to lead our Sleep Medicine department --Exceptional opportunity for a clinically focused physician who thrives in a team-oriented, growth-minded environment—while helping shape the future of an AASM-accredited program --4-day work week with schedule flexibility --This leadership role is predominantly clinical with meaningful influence—not a desk job. --Majority of time is direct patient care, including full responsibility for all Sleep Lab interpretations --Leadership responsibilities are integrated into your schedule—not layered on top --8 hours/month of protected administrative time included in base compensation --Remaining hours follow our RVU-based productivity model --Function as the Site Director for AASM Accreditation --Lead through a dyad model to ensure ongoing compliance with AASM standards --Partner with system leadership to drive departmental growth and service expansion --No additional stipend—leadership responsibilities are part of the base role and recognized in the model design --Strong administrative, nursing, and technical support --Comprehensive benefits, including: Medical & dental, 403(b) & 457 retirement plans, CME allowance, Generous paid time off, Up to $20,000/year medical education loan reimbursement -- Required: Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Sleep Medicine (Pulmonology training welcome but not required depending on your intended practice mix), Unrestricted Maine medical license (or ability to obtain)
