Description: Facility is seeking a BC Occupational Medicine Physician for a Medical Director role - Part-time, day shift (0.6 FTE); - Provide medical leadership and direction in the operation and expansion of Occupational Health programs - Responsible for medical care rendered to patients; participate in development and implementation of Occupational Health programs and medical services - Lead all areas of Occupational Medicine practice operations, unifying clinicians and staff toward shared goals - Foster educational opportunities, staff selection and hiring, coaching, and professional discipline - Responsible for overall quality, safety, customer satisfaction, and clinical practice within service areas - Monitor compliance with departmental policies and outside regulatory requirements; monitor budgeted financial plans - Liaise between hospital senior management and providers - Perform clinical supervision of medical staff; provide input into annual performance appraisals and feedback - Train and oversee clinical orientation for newly hired providers; assess competencies and learning needs - Training in pediatric, primary care, or preventive care; CME coursework related to physician leadership strongly preferred - Prior administrative/supervisory experience preferred - New York medical license required; DEA certificate required; MRO certification required - Pay range $130,000–$165,000/year based on experience
