Description: Facility is seeking a BC/BE Infectious Disease Physician to join a busy practice of 12 physicians and 6 APRNs across 4 hospital locations - Mix of inpatient and outpatient work; schedule and call structure varies by site (hybrid inpatient/outpatient or primarily inpatient with one full outpatient day per week) - Weekend call rotation 1:3 or 1:4 depending on site (Friday 4pm–Monday 8am); provider rounds in person at home hospital only - Weeknight call approximately 1–2 nights per month on rotation among 12 physicians; covered via phone/Secure Chat - Provides ID consultations only — no admissions or discharges - Inpatient census averages 35 off-season and 60+ during season; census split between 3 physicians at home hospital - Outpatient: new patient appointments 60 minutes; follow-up appointments 30 minutes; APRN support available - Referral rotation approximately 1:13 - Generalist ID scope required; experience or interest in mycobacterium a plus - Treats all aspects of ID including Hepatitis, HIV, general ID, and mycobacterium - Ambulatory infusion center available for outpatient IV antibiotic management; wound care clinic and complex/transitional care unit also on site - Antimicrobial stewardship is good – evidence-based guidelines for prescribing antimicrobials (correct drug, dose duration when antibiotic is needed) - Opportunity to work with residents for candidates interested in teaching - Bilingual English/Spanish a plus but not required - Sign-on bonus and relocation package - Dedicated CME time and funding - Malpractice insurance with tail coverage - 403(b) with match and 457(b) enhanced retirement option - Short- and long-term disability - Generous PTO - Eligible for Federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program
