Description: Central Pennsylvania Facility is seeking Locum BC/BE Gastroenterologist to provide float pool coverage starting July 13th, 2026 - Schedule: July 13th 7a through July 18th 7a August 24th 7a through August 29th 7a August 31st 7a through September 7th 7a December 28th through January 4th 7am - Contract Length: ongoing - Shift Details: 24 hour call - 2 weeks per month - Monday 7am-Monday 7am - 24 hour call and 8 hours per day M-F rounds on weekend and procedures as needed - Scheduled procedures for 4.5 hours per day in the morning Wed, Thurs and Friday (occasional Monday) 7:30-12pm - 4 hours of office time as well for clinic occasionally. - Inpatient in the afternoon - There are usually about 4 to 5 scheduled procedures that will be done and then any add ons in the afternoon. If not on call and just doing procedures for the day then you will have about 8 to 9 cases scheduled - When in the office the expectation would be to have office patients for half the day seeing 1 every 40 minutes and then going to round in the hospital on any consults in the afternoon and complete any procedures that need done from consults. - There is a PA that is on call with the surgeon during the day to help round on patients from the hours of 7a-330p, IT is always available to help and we have the provider service line available 24/7 for support as well. - Gratis: 2hrs - Support Staff: Anes on site - Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: 2 weeks per month - Patient Population/Age: 18+ - Practice Setting: Hospital - EMR: EPIC - Special Procedures: no EUS or ERCP - Required: PA license, DEA, minimum 1 year experience
