Description: Medical Center is seeking a Psychiatry Residency Program Director Candidate will be involved with the development, implementation, and oversight of our new psychiatric residency training program of 4 residents The position will be a combination of administrative and clinical duties, including predominantly outpatient as well as inpatient or a combination of both Weekday call is currently being handled Weekend call will be estimated to be 1:8. The candidate will have at least five years of clinical experience and board certification Prior experience running a residency training program in psychiatry is desired Highly competitive compensation based on experience. Community/Facility info: Centrally located in southwestern Pennsylvania. The County’s population is about 89,000 and stable, with a concentration of about 23,000. Largest of the state-owned colleges at about 14,500 undergraduates, is the largest employer in the county. Hospital is second largest employer with about 1400 currently on the payroll. The community is well-known for its quality school system that is highly ranked in the state and has been nationally recognized.
