Description: Hospital is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join a dedicated Behavioral Health Emergency Department team -- Overnight shifts -- 3-day workweek; flexible 12-hour shifts -- Serve as Admission Officer for inpatient psychiatric units -- Collaborate closely with the on-call Psychiatrist and Emergency Department Physician -- Provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and medication management -- Support individualized treatment plans within a hospital-based Behavioral Health ED setting -- Opportunity to provide care through telepsychiatry -- Psychiatric direct patient care experience preferred -- Hospital-employed position with comprehensive compensation and benefits package -- Professional growth and development opportunities -- PMHNP certification required -- Child-capable certification required -- Unrestricted APRN license, unrestricted DEA, State Controlled Substance Registration, and Prescription Monitoring Program registration required
