Description: Medical Center seeking Locum Hospitalist Physician --Open Dates: - 10/18 Team 3 - 10/19 Team 3 - 10/19 Admit - 10/23 Admit - 11/24-11/29 Admit --Cross-covering average of 40-50 patients. --During day shift, there is a multitude of subspecialties available, including anesthesia, surgery and IR. IR however is only available M-F during normal business hours. --We do have an intensivist in the ICU on days, so day shifts will not require our Hospitalist coverage. --During the day if it’s specifically the Hospitalists patient they usually respond to the codes. --We also have internal medicine residents and a rapid response team that go to all codes. --We do ask the Hospitalist that’s in charge of that patient to attend. They likely will not need to do anything but if it’s their patient, it’s best practice for them to be there. --No Procedures --EMR Cerner --Required: BC/BE Internal or Family Medicine, AZ license or IMLC, DEA, BLS, Minimum 2 years experience
