Description: Indianapolis area Facility Seeking a BC/BE Electrophysiologist Large, equal shares, multi-specialty team of twenty-nine cardiologists, three cardiac hospitalists, and ten advanced practice providers. --Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; with hospital rotation 1:3 --Saturday, 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (2 times per year to provide patient access) --Evening hours, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (2 times per year to provide patient access) --Weekend call: 1:6 --Inpatient call coverage 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. 1 evening every 4-5 weeks; Support of three cardiac hospitalists for night call 9:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. --Weekend call: 1:6 --Weekend call team consists of four physicians --Average clinic volume: 22 patients per day --Average inpatient volume: 15 – 20 --High volumes – average 200+ cases per year --Biosense Webster Cartosound Mapping system with GE recording system, with connectivity to perform cryoballoon cases as well --Perssion Mapping with Velocity recording with TactiCath capabilities and cyro-balloon connectivity Procedures: Permanent Pacemaker implants, Pacemaker Lead extractions, Leadless Pacemaker implants, ICD implants, Left Atrial Appendage Closure, Ablations: Atrial Fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, SVT, VT Cryoablation, Covergent procedures in collaboration with cardiovascular surgeons, Minimal travel to outreach locations <1 hour from main campus --Competitive compensation, including income guarantee, with bonus incentives --Generous recruitment bonus program including relocation allowance; commencement and retention packages --Paid malpractice --27 days of Allowed Time Off plus five additional paid days for CME with annual stipend --Full benefits package, including health, life, dental, vision and legal insurance --Retirement options, including 403(b), 457(b), 401(a) --Short- and Long-Term Own Occupation Disability --Customized marketing support --Leadership development through board and committee opportunities Required: BLS

Live in or near a major metropolitan area but practice in physician friendly Indiana. We are the dominant supplier of health care in our area with 110,000 active patient files. This opportunity provides a built-in referral base. We have 3 patient care facilities in Northwest Indiana. We have an affiliated 9-bed surgical hospital attached to the Specialty Center where Endocrinology is located. We also have Radiology (including open MRI), lab (Pathologist available Monday-Friday), a full service EKG department, a full service pulmonary lab, an outpatient Physical Therapy Department and a dietitian.
