Description: Medical Center seeking full scope Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) --This CNM would be joining a thriving OB/GYN practice in Vermont, becoming an integral part of our dynamic collaborative care team. --Our provider team is comprised of four OB/GYN Physicians and a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. --We are looking for a CNM who is passionate about providing exceptional patient centered, evidence-based care while supporting normal physiological changes one can experience across a reproductive lifespan. --This outpatient, hospital-owned practice is adjacent to the main hospital campus and an office on same floor as labor and delivery unit for use when on call. --The hospital team is comprised of highly autonomous nursing team, respiratory therapists and pediatricians. --The team facilitates roughly 300 births each year. --This position includes first call for OB and Gyn patients, usually 24 hr shifts, one day a week and one weekend a month. --The Certified Nurse Midwife provides medical care and treatment to gynecological and obstetrical patients in collaboration with the physicians in the department of obstetrics/gynecologist across a woman's lifespan and throughout prenatal, delivery and postpartum periods. --Required: - Either Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)/ Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) with Midwifery focus OR Successful completion of an accredited graduate level Midwifery program. - Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Licensed RN in the State of Vermont. - BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
