Description: Providence, RI area Facility is seeking a Locum Hematology Oncology Physician to provide coverage --Start date: March/April 2026 --Contact Length: 5 months with the option to extend --16 hours, Wednesday and Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, with possible inpatient coverage for weekdays and weekends --Will consider 1-2 weeks per month (4 hours outpatient, 4 hours inpatient) --Call 5 pm-8 am --Weekend call 7 am-7 am --Rounding daily 1 -2 hours based on consult volume --Inpatient patient volume varies based on consults --Outpatient patient volume: 18 – 22 --Treatment/procedures: Biopsies as needed --EMR – 80% paper, 20% EMR – Meditech --Required: BC Hematology Oncology, RI license, DEA
