Description: Seeking a Locum BC Hematology Oncologist --Coverage needed: November 3rd - November 9th --Monday-Thursday 8a-5p --Friday 8a-12p --Inpatient and outpatient clinical care (90% outpatient) --No Call --#Clinic consults/new patients per day: 3-5 --Scheduled total patient load (clinic + inpatient): 15-20 day --Number of Physicians in dept (excluding missing doc or incoming locum) 1 APP --Clinical responsibilities will include screening, evaluation, and treatment of oncology patients in an ambulatory setting as well as inpatient rounding on admitted patients who need consultation --No IC responsibilities --LT will not respond to codes or serve as backup in the ER --Expected procedures: Bone Marrow Biopsies --New providers will need to orient the day before their first shift or day of first shift.
