Description: Hospital is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to support general and interventional cardiology — inpatient and outpatient --Monday–Friday; inpatient cardiology rounding 5 days per week; outpatient clinic 4 afternoons per week; one protected administrative afternoon per week --Inpatient duties: daily cardiology coverage and rounding, new consultation evaluations, comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, diagnostic interpretation, treatment plan development in collaboration with supervising cardiologists, and discharge/transition of care coordination --Outpatient clinic: manage new and established cardiology patients including CAD, heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and valvular heart disease; coordinate referrals to EP, interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery, and cardiac rehab --Interventional cardiology support: pre- and post-procedural care for cardiac cath, PCI, peripheral vascular interventions, and structural heart procedures --Administrative afternoon: lab/diagnostic review, medication refills, prior authorizations, patient portal messages, documentation, and care coordination --2+ years of cardiology, hospital medicine, or critical care experience preferred --Experience in general and/or interventional cardiology preferred; familiarity with cardiac cath, PCI, structural heart, and peripheral vascular interventions preferred --Competitive salary and benefits package --Health, dental, and vision insurance --Paid time off; 12 paid holidays; continuing education opportunities --Current NP license with prescriptive authority, national board certification (AANP or ANCC), DEA, BLS, and ACLS required
