Description: Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic generalist to join a busy hospital-employed practice - Incoming providers can expect to see hips, knees and shoulders, along with trigger finger, carpal tunnel, extremity fractures, joint replacements, arthroscopic knees/joints. - Willing to consider fellowship-trained specialty individuals if the provider is willing to do general ortho as well - The provider will have access to work with the General Surgery residents who rotate through facility - Designated Level IV trauma center with the intent of moving to a Level III in 2025-2026 - Competitive base compensation plus wRVU - Relocation support - Sign-on bonus - CME reimbursement and CME time off - PTO - Comprehensive benefits package plus 401k - J VISA OK

Community/Facility info: Medical Center is a 140-bed acute care facility that is The Joint Commission (TJC) accredited. The hospital offers a full range of health care services in a recently expanded facility. A newly renovated $1.1 million Physical Rehabilitation Unit opened in 2003. A $20 million Emergency Department and Facility Renovation, completed in 2006, added approximately 42,000 square feet to the facility and renovated approximately 8,000 square feet within the existing hospital. The Emergency Department includes 22 rooms, a portable X-ray unit, a CAT scan, a portable ultrasound, X-ray rooms and three trauma rooms. The second floor includes the Women’s Center, with three labor and delivery suites, a staging area and a nine-bed nursery with the latest in safety and LDR security features. PACS Technology, which allows physicians in the Emergency Department to make consultations 24 hours a day with radiologists at other facilities across the country, has also been installed. Also, our Cath Lab and IR suite was opened in 2010. The hospital has purchased over $4.2 million in state-of-the-art medical equipment.
