Description: Medical Center is seeking a Digestive Health Physician --Join 5 other employed GI’s and 3 NPs --Full time position – Monday thru Friday --36 Patient Contact Hours – 4 Admin Hours/week --1:4 Call (will go to 1:5) – Consult Only Service - No Admissions --Consults and rounding a done by the physician on call. --75/25 split on lab/endoscopy vs clinic --11 - 12 Patients per day for procedures; 20-25 per physician seen in the clinic --Each physician has their own designated RN for support --5000+ cases per year in the endoscopy area – 500 inpatient/4500 outpatient --150+ ERCP and 200+ EUS annually and volume continues to grow --Candidates can do general GI practice, but there is also demand for ERCP and EUS procedures/advanced endoscopy --Currently 4 procedure rooms and 8 holding rooms (pre and post operative area) --Scopes – Olympus 180 and 190 series (HD scopes) --C-Arm is available in the department --Colonoscopies are done with Propofol and anesthesia support - All of our procedures are done with propofol in our unit, but if the doctor travels to ICU to do a procedure where anesthesia is not there, then they would do that procedure with conscious sedation --Sign-on Bonus --Competitive Compensation: Guaranteed base salary (typically MGMA median) + WRVU bonuses --Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, & vision; supplemental insurance options (short/long-term disability, accidental, cancer, life); retirement plans with employer match. --Student Loan Repayment: Eligible for loan repayment assistance through the PSLF program, helping to manage and reduce student debt. --CME Allowances: 5 days off a year / $3k a year --Malpractice Insurance/Tail Coverage --Work-Life Balance: Flexible scheduling and ample paid time off to ensure a healthy work-life balance J VISA OK, H VISA OK
