Description: Texas/Mexico border Hospital is seeking Locum Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant to provide coverage starting 9/14/2026 - Contract length: 3month-1year - Hours: 10am-8pm; 4pm-2am - Open to Locum-to-Perm or Perm - No call - Total Number of ED Beds: 12 plus 4-bed Express Care - Trauma Level IV - Annual ED Volume: 25,500 (70 visits/day) - Admission Percentage 10% - Average Patients per Hour: MD 1.4, APP 1.6 - Transfer Rate: 5% - Specialty Back-Up: General Surgery, Urology, OB/GYN, Interventional Cardiology, Nephrology, Interventional Radiology, and Pediatrics - EMR: Meditech Expanse - Certifications Needed: ACLS, ATLS, PALS - Must have active TX license
