Description: Southern Texas Hospital is seeking Locum Emergency Medicine physician to provide coverage starting 9/14/2026 - Contract length: 3 months to one year - Shift Details: MD Hours: 8am-8pm; 8pm-8am - Open to Locum-to-Perm and Perm - No call - Total Number of ED Beds: 7 - Trauma Level Designation: Level IV - Annual ED Volume: 16,000 (43 visits/day) - Admission Percentage 3% - Average Doc Patients per Hour: 1.8 - Transfer Rate: 2% - Pediatric Visits: 56% - EMR: MedHost - BC/EM or BC/FP/IM/Board Eligible with ED experience - Certifications Needed: ACLS, ATLS (BC/EM not required), PALS
