Description: Southern Texas - 90 minutes from San Antonio Critical Access Hospital seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant Start date: 8/3/2026 Contract length: 3 months to 1 year Scheduled shifts: 10am to 8pm No Call Approximately 6,700 emergency room visits per year. Level IV Trauma Center The ER is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with physicians and nurses. The department sees an average of around 18 to 19 emergency visits daily. Required: TX license, ACLS, ATLS, PALS
