Description: San Antonio, TX area Hospital is seeking Locum Emergency Medicine physician to provide coverage starting 9/14/2026 - Contract length: 3 months to 1 year - Shift Details: Physician shifts variable by day with 5-6 shifts daily, all 9 hours: 6a-3p, 9a-6p, 12p-9p, 3p-12a, 6p-3a, 10p-7a. - Open to Locum-to-Perm or Perm - Trauma Level Designation: Level IV (pending state approval) - Annual ED Volume: 58,520 (160 visits/day) - Total Number of ED Beds: 46 rooms, 10 vertical areas, 10 hallway beds - Admission Percentage 22.2% - Average physician patients per hour: 2.1 - Transfer Rate: 2% - Pediatric Visits: 9% - EMS: 23% - EMR: Meditech - BC/EM with ED experience. - Active TX license or IMLC required
