Description: Northern New York Hospital is seeking Locum OB/GYN to provide coverage - Dates needed: 4/6 7p – 4/12 7p 4/13 7p – 4/16 7a 5/1 7a – 5/3 7p 5/14 7p – 5/17 7p 5/18 7p – 5/24 7p - Shift: 7p-7p or 7a-7a, 24hr call (1st call) - Patient Volume: 15-20 patients/day - Procedures: SVD, Operative vaginal delivery (forceps or vacuum), vaginal delivery repair, Cesarean section, infant male circumcisions, D&C/D&E, Laparoscopic/robotic/abdominal gynecological surgeries - Staff on unit: RNs: 6 on days/ 5 on nights, Anesthesiologist – on call at all times, CNAs – 1 per shift, Clerks – 1 per shift - Acuity level of patients: Adults and Peds, acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems. - Patient Ratios: 0-10 - Automated Medication dispensing system: Pixys - Charting: EPIC
