Description: Coastal South Carolina - Locum BC Vascular Surgery assignment Requirements: SC license, SC controlled substance, DEA Looking for a candidate to cover one 10 day stretch a month (Friday at 7 am – the following Monday at 7 am) Current practice has 2 perm Vascular Surgeons Outpatient clinic Monday thru Thursday 8-4:30; Friday 8-2:00 Procedures required: •Open and endo AAA (open rare/never, would likely only be emergent hemodynamically unstable rupture patient with no endo option) •TCAR, CEA •Lower extremity angio/angioplasty/stenting, intra-arterial catheter directed lysis •Femoral endarterectomy, lower extremity open bypass (vein, cadaver vein, prosthetic) •Lower/upper extremity thrombectomy •Fistulogram and fistula declot •Central line, tunneled and non-tunneled •DVT mechanical thrombectomy •IVC filter placement Avg. patients/physician/day: •Inpatient: varies •Clinic: 10-20 depending on provider EMR: EPIC
