Description: --Seeking BE/BC Neurologist to join hospital practice --Primarily outpatient clinical role – with inpatient responsibilities --Standard office hours (Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm / Friday 8am-12pm) --Protected administrative time (4.5 days clinic time with .5-day admin time per week) --36 patient contact hours / 4 admin hours --Call Schedule: 10 days per month, supported by telemedicine and a telestroke program; neurologist on call will also see consults in the hospital. --ED and the tele-stroke program takes care of stroke and TPA protocol. The neurologists typically do not administer TPA. --Cerner EMR with Dragon dictation --80% outpatient/20% inpatient -- Average Patient Volume: 18-22 patients per day --Visit Types: General neurology consultations, follow-ups, and diagnostic testing. --Typical Procedures: EMG, EEG, nerve conduction studies, and Botox injections. --Support Services: Telemedicine for consults, EMG tech onsite to assist with testing, and a tele-stroke program in place. --Electroencephalography (EEG) for detecting electrical activity in the brain --Electromyography (EMG) and Nerve Conduction Studies for evaluating nerve and muscle function --Advanced neuroimaging including MRI, CT, and specialized brain scans --Carotid ultrasound and other vascular studies --Lumbar puncture (spinal tap) capabilities --Sleep studies for neurological sleep disorders --Cognitive and neuropsychological testing --Sign-on Bonus: $30k+ to assist with the transition. --Competitive Compensation: Guaranteed base salary (typically MGMA median) + WRVU bonuses --Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, & vision; supplemental insurance options (short/long-term disability, accidental, cancer, life); retirement plans with employer match. --Student Loan Repayment: Eligible for loan repayment assistance through the PSLF program, helping to manage and reduce student debt. --CME Allowances: 5 days off a year / $3k a year --Malpractice Insurance/Tail Coverage --Licensure/Certifications/Renewals --Work-Life Balance: Flexible scheduling and ample paid time off to ensure a healthy work-life balance (24 Days PTO). --J VISA OK
