Description: Seeking a Trauma Surgeon for a Level I Trauma Center Trauma, Acute Care Surgery, & Surgical Critical Care Recruiting a Trauma & Acute Care Surgeon, to join a growing Trauma & Acute Care Surgery (TACS) service line Join 6 double-boarded trauma/acute-care surgeons and 4 orthopedic traumatologists. 24-hour in-house 12 APP coverage model. 16-bed surgical/trauma ICU with daily multi-disciplinary rounds. 32-bed dedicated unit for all TACS service line patients. Over 170,000 ED visits annually. 119,000 at Gainesville Acute Care Surgery case volume is 3100+ annually. ACGME accredited General Surgery Residency program. Requirements: BC/BE in General Surgery (ABMS). BC/BE in Surgical Critical Care (ABMS). ATLS certification.
