Description: Community health center is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner Clinical Preceptor to serve as a dedicated clinical educator within an outpatient primary care setting --Serve as primary preceptor for newly hired NPs during onboarding; provide direct clinical supervision across the full scope of outpatient primary care --Establish individualized onboarding plans with progressive autonomy benchmarks, competency milestones, and defined timelines to independent practice --Conduct structured feedback sessions and formal competency evaluations; identify skill gaps and develop remediation plans --Guide NPs in managing complex patients including those with multiple chronic conditions, behavioral health needs, and SDOH challenges --Develop and maintain a structured NP onboarding curriculum covering FQHC operations, chronic disease management, SDOH screening, behavioral health integration, and preventive care --Facilitate case-based learning, clinical skills training, and orientation to protocols, standing orders, and EHR workflows --Incorporate quality improvement frameworks (PDSA, Lean) into the onboarding experience --Track and report preceptorship metrics; contribute to clinical policy, protocol, and standing order development --Minimum 7 years of NP clinical experience (significant outpatient primary care required); minimum 2 years in a community health, FQHC, or safety-net setting --Prior experience mentoring or onboarding new clinical staff required --Strong working knowledge of FQHC operations, UDS reporting, and value-based care models required --Experience with collaborative care models (CoCM) and SDOH screening preferred; bilingual proficiency preferred --MSN required; DNP highly preferred; FNP, AGPCNP, or PNP certification preferred for primary care scope --Current NP licensure and BLS certification required --Salary range: $140,000–$160,000
