Description: Seeking a Medical Director to lead its growing team of medical oncologists/hematologists and advanced practice providers --The Medical Director will be responsible for providing clinical oversight of the group and medical oncology program --In collaboration with the cancer program senior leadership team, the Medical Director will lead efforts to increase integration and alignment of medical oncology services --Lead recruitment, retention, mentorship, quality, and growth management for physicians and APP --Represent medical oncology services across the system, both inpatient and outpatient, to other physician groups and to executive leadership of facilities and service lines --Be a major contributor to strategic initiatives for medical oncology --Act as the public face for general marketing, public events, and physician-group relations --Head efforts to integrate, align, and standardize operations --Lead quality and safety program for medical oncology --Ensure physician presence in all medical oncology leadership meetings, clinical decision making --Participate in the development of policies, procedures, continuing education programs, and training of providers and staff --Participate in budget planning and prioritization --In addition to administrative duties, the Medical Director is expected to practice at least 3 days per week in clinic initially --Enjoy a competitive salary with a generous sign-on bonus, RVU bonus potential, quality bonus and excellent benefits including CME allowance, paid malpractice insurance, and flexible relocation assistance --Requirements: Board certification in medical oncology, Minimum of 7 years clinical experience, Previous leadership experience, Tennessee Medical License-eligible
