Description: Seeking a Hospitalist --7 on/7 off - on site during the day (approx. 8a-5p) - switch on Tuesdays --Base Salary: 330-350k --Pager call from home w/ 30 min call radius overnight (5p-8a) w/ APP in house - most call is taken via pager but Hospitalist may be required to come back in if needed for urgent patient matters --EMR Epic --2 FT Hospitalists in group - mix of FT and per diem APPs --49-bed hospital, 6-bed ICU; average census: 20-22 pts (Med/Surg and ICU) --Inpatient, some management of observation patients --Patient population: Adults 18+ --1 MD/1-2 APPs during the day - 1 APP in house overnight w/ MD backup call --General inpatient responsibilities, coverage of ICU including running codes, procedures, etc with MD backup --Procedures: Para/thoracentesis, central line placement; vent management/intubations w/ support from Anesthesiology, ED and RT --Payor Mix: 60% Medicare/Medicaid - The rest are commercial and private --Required: BC/BE ABIM, ACLS J Visa OK, H Visa OK
