Description: Locum NeuroHospitalist opening in the Minneapolis area Coverage needed beginning May 2021 – ongoing Open shifts: July 2 – 8 (7 shifts); August 6 – 19 (14 shifts) and Sept 10-16 (7 shifts) Shift: days – 6am – 6pm - Shifts per month: 5-10 100% inpatient neuro coverage Support Staff: Neuro ICU MD and NP Patient Volume: 7-15 patients per day. 3-5 new consults per day Department is supported by 3 vascular neurologists and private neurohospitalists Adult only – no peds EMR is EPIC Will be responsible for consults and follow-ups – no admits Certifications Required: Board Certification – Neurology – prefer Neurohospitalist Fellowship but not required Minimum experience: 1-2 years post training experience in hospital based / inpatient work
