Description: Seeking a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist for a great location in the northwestern part of Arizona. The incoming physician will join an existing independent practice and can expect the volume to grow quickly based on the needs in the area. This group has 3 offices and they plan to continue to grow. Current call is 1:4. There are two state-of-the-art cath labs on site and the door to balloon times are better than national averages. Practice will include diagnostic and interventional procedures. The hospital has an active open heart program. Expect to be busy quickly with an ample number of primary care physicians for referrals. The office space is near the hospital, which is a regional referral facility. Community/Facility info: 181-bed acute care facility located on the Colorado River on the northwestern border of Arizona and California, midway between Phoenix, Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada. The hospital is certified for Medicare and JCAHO accredited. A 20-bed Transitional Care, Skilled Nursing Unit (SNF) is an active medical service component of the facility. The Medical Center provides 24-hour emergency service with full-time emergency physicians on duty. It is a state certified ALS Base Hospital authorizing medical direction and support or pre-hospital care providers, the fire department paramedics, and ambulance personnel. The facilely offers a full complement of patient-centered, community hospital and regional referral services in all or the major medical disciplines. More than 90 affiliated physicians comprise the medical staff and represent a broad cross-section of specialty areas.
