Description: Seeking a Gastroenterologist to join an established practice of 2 GI physicians, 2 full-time GI Hospitalists, 1 GI Hospitalist PA and various per diem GI Hospitalist (who all take call), along with 2 outpatient APPS
There is additional growth potential through area outreach and education, as well as an opportunity to participate in the development of an endoscopic ultrasound program
Applicants must be BC/BE - ERCP and EUS training a plus
The endoscopy unit includes five endoscopy suites and one bronch lab
It is designed as an ambulatory Surgical Center and all patients are managed within the unit with occasional procedures in the OR, primarily pediatric patients
The office practice is located in a new Medical Professional Building which is connected to the hospital for easy access
Procedures: Colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, EUS, Flexible sigmoidoscopies, PEG tube placements
Endoscopy Information: Olympus equipment, Five endoscopy suites and one bronchoscopy suite, 10 bed recovery unit, Experienced and helpful staff of RNs and techs
Consult patients daily, with option of half or full day office hours during designated week days, depending on preference
There are no weekend clinic hours

If desired we do have opportunity for a combined Traditional/Hospitalist role as well
