Description: Seeking a BC Psychiatrist to start Early Fall 2024 in a Hybrid role in the NYC Metro area -- Provide quality patient care, clinical supervision, and multi-disciplinary collaboration. -- Foster a care philosophy that considers biological, psychological, and environmental factors in treating mental disorders through Psychotherapy & Psychopharmacology practices. -- Possess proven experience OR has a strong desire to provide clinical supervision amongst an interdisciplinary team. --The Psychiatrist will see new patients, perform clinical evaluations, foster long-lasting therapeutic relationships with patients, provide medication checks, collaborate with clinical leadership, and supervise clinical staff. -- The individual for this role will start by primarily seeing patients (weekly target of 50) as they acclimate to our practice. We anticipate the individual will assume supervisory responsibilities over the course of 3-6 months of starting (The timeline for this transition is based on business needs). -- 70% Direct clinical care with adherence to our comprehensive practice model -- 20% Team oversight and Administrative Tasks: - 1:1 meetings, department & company-wide meetings - Provide support to supervisees - Additional administrative duties include reviewing discharge summaries, cosigning notes, and signing prior authorization -- 10% Notes, collateral contact, and administrative work related to patient care -- Work Schedule: Flexible to your preference Requirements: -- Earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited school with successful completion in a Psychiatry residency program, -- Active state license and DEA in one of these states: NY NJ CT FL MA -- 4+ years of post-residency clinical work experience in Psychiatry -- Past Supervisory experience preferred, OR interest to grow into assuming supervisory responsibilities required -- Proven experience and desire to support Psychotherapy treatment -- Psychotherapy Modality experience (CBT, DBT, etc.) -- Telehealth/telemedicine experience We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes: -- Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance benefits are eligible by the 1st of the following month from your start date -- Optional enrollment in a HSA, FSA, or/and DCA per applicable plan -- Employer-paid Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance, Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance -- 401(k) plan with immediate employer match and vesting -- Paid Time Off & Leave -- Annual paid week off between Christmas and New Year's Day while the practice is closed -- Company Observed Holidays -- Up to 3 weeks of Annual Paid Time Off (PTO) that is pro-rated for the remainder of the year based on start date (Increased PTO based on tenure) -- Family Medical Leave (FLMA), Parental Leave, and Military Leave -- Paid Bereavement Leave (up to 5 days) -- Paid Pet Bereavement / Medical Care Leave (up to 2 days) -- Annually allotted Paid Professional Development Days (16 hours) after one year of employment -- Professional Development Allowance after one year of employment ($500) -- Free Development Courses through our Learning Management System (Relias) with CEU accreditation courses available -- Virtual and In-Person Social Events, Activities, and Community Support
