Description: Upstate New York - 90 minutes from Rochester Facility is seeking Chief Emergency Medicine physician to join team starting ASAP - Shift: 7:30am -7:30pm and 7:30pm-7:30am - 8 days/4 nights- 25% of shifts weekends consecutive Sat & Sun - EMR: Epic - Patient volume each shift: 2-3 pts/hr - Annual visits: 15,000 - Patient population: All ages, All acuities - What % of patients are admitted? 20% - Do EM physicians respond to floor codes? Yes - Possible responsibilities in Obs Unit, UC, etc in response to codes - Trauma Level: III - How many physicians / NPs on each shift? Solo Coverage 7:30a to 11a; 11p to 7:30a; 2nd chair provides extra coverage from 11a to 11p - 8 Shifts/month = $374,400 - 288 administrative hours = $93,600 dedicated to Quality/PI, chart reviews, provider recruitment, regulatory compliance, DOH/Joint Commission reporting, staff education, protocol development, and administration/hospital leadership liaison. - Sign On Bonus: $75K over 3 years - Relocation Package: $5-10K Standard - Loan assistance: Potential - ETO / Vacation: 26 days (includes holidays) - CMEs: $4,000 plus 5 days - Med/Mal Coverage including tail - Standard employed visits - Board Certifications accepted: ABEM, ABIM, and or IM & FM w/ experience - Will accept Board Eligible candidates as well - H VISA OK J VISA OK
