Description: Seeking a full-time Family Medicine NP for an established practice Duties include: --Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for a specified patient population. --Secures history and physical examination of patient in outpatient service. --Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate. --Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids and ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct usage. --Utilizes laboratory and diagnostic services as necessary. --Performs emergency treatment in cases of serious illness or injury. --Seeks outside advice and consultation as necessary; refers for medical surgical or other adjunct services those patients requiring specialty consultation, or for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment. --Assumes “on call” responsibility for hospital and outpatient service.
