Description: Seeking a BC/BE Anesthesiologist to join our well established, hospital employed group
Medically directed program overseeing 4 CRNAs
Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (cases start at 7:30 a.m.), hours may extend past 3:30 p.m. with Surgery add-on cases.
Staffing: 8 Anesthesiologists and 18 CRNAs
Call is shared with 2 CRNAs
Weekday call is 1:5; Weekday call 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Weekend call is 1:5; Friday 7:00 a.m. – Monday 7:00 a.m.
Post call day off
Pay for Call (CERP) program
Case load depends on room: General surgery, Thoracic, Vascular, OB/maternity, ENT, Ophthalmology, Ortho, Urology, Minimal peds, No heads, No hearts, No spines
2-year contract also includes 272 hours PTO, 5 days PTO for CME and up to $5k, 457b plan, 403b plan, moving expenses, malpractice, health insurance, bonus incentives, student loan repayment, sign-on bonus
Community/Facility info: 222 not-for-profit hospital. 2200 employees, 140 active medical staff. 14,000+ surgical procedures/year. Number of Operating Suites: 2 Open Heart; 1 Hybrid (for peripheral vascular and open cardiac cases); 5 General Surgery Rooms; 4 Orthopedic Rooms; 5 Endo Suites with 1 ERCP Room; and 1 Cysto Suite located in the Endoscopy area (19 total rooms).

Maternity Department: 11 Private LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Post), 1,600 deliveries per year, 5 room triage area, 3 rooms for surgery patients, surgical room, holding nursery, and a 6 bed special care nursery.
Critical Care Department: 16 ICU rooms (15 private), Circular floor set-up, Break away doors, sleeping rooms for on-call staff and medical students, and large waiting room with restrooms and vending machines.
Emergency Department: 23 beds (21 private) and 4 chairs, special pediatric room, drive-up lane, using computerized radiography (filmless), 2 x-ray rooms and a STAT lab – expanding to 47 beds.
