Description: Medical Center is seeking a Geriatrician to join an Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Residency Program This is a full-time academic geriatrician clinician and faculty teacher position The Geriatrics program portion of the Internal Medicine residency program has developed rapidly growing outpatient, memory center, Long-term Care and House Calls programs This is a wonderful opportunity for either a seasoned or newly graduated IM or FM Geriatrician who loves clinical care, teaching and has an interest in leadership, program development and scholarship The successful candidate will be joining a geriatrics-committed, dynamic residency physician faculty group. This position involves providing clinical care to a medically complex, vulnerable aging patient population and the teaching of residents Innovative, team-based, collaborative, and accomplished faculty are excited about refining and further developing our geriatrics' service lines of clinical care with a teaching mission Opportunities available for physician candidates also include leadership positions, e.g., facility medical director and participation in scholarship, e.g., research, QI with Lean Six Sigma certification, and didactic teaching. Protected time is allotted to achieve these goals. Required: D or DO Board Certified/ Board Eligible Geriatrician. Primary Specialty in either Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Arkansas.
